Relevant Experience:
My heart and ministry grew from the ways God has worked miraculously and compassionately in my own life as i've fought chronic illness, raised a special needs child, faced difficult parenting challenges and grappled with mental health issues with family members. It is possible to live a full life despite challenging circumstances. In fact, those challenging circumstances, as strange as it sounds, have brought me life and healing that would not otherwise have been possible. They have been the broken pathway to God and my purpose. i'm a speaker, as well as co-author of Mothering from Scratch: Finding the Best Parenting Style for You and Your Family and author of Invisible Wounds: Hope While You're Hurting, a book that gives encouragement and hope to those in seemingly unending pain—whether physical, emotional or spiritual. For the past 20 plus years, i have been leading women's events, programs and studies at my church, serving as the Women's Director there for the past six years.

Since i've become a coach, i've tried hard to nail down my niche. But every time i think i've got it "cornered," God shows me another way that He wants to use me to coach individuals, organizations and groups in areas and ways that i hadn't considered before. But if i had to summarize what i offer, i would say this: i work with women, moms, writers/speakers, organizations and individuals who experience a longing and desire to discover and pursue God and HIs plan for their lives, ministries and families. i help them to identify spiritual, circumstantial and mindset barriers so they can grow in their awareness of who God is and experience the joy of watching Him reveal His plan and purpose for them as they follow Him step by step. What sets me apart is that in many cases, i have lived what i coach my clients through. i can relate to their struggles and barriers on a very deep level. Parenting an incredibly defiant, strong-willed child? i've been there. Suffering from chronic pain? i understand. Mom to a special needs or chronically ill child? Me too. Doubt God's love and purpose for you in the midst of your struggles? i get it. Are you a writer/speaker who can't seem to unearth and release the message burning in your heart? i've been there, too. All those experiences that have seemed so crushing over the years, God is now using as i coach individuals and organizations through moving forward toward God and who He designed them to be. He doesn't waste an ounce of struggle.
